About Me
You could call me a multi-disciplinary artist since I have embarked upon various creative pursuits over the years, but most of all I'm an enthousiastic creative that likes to explore new things.
I make illustrations, album covers, posters, and music videos. Over the years, I’ve been involved in several musical projects: Surfing Stingrays, Raccoon Lagoon & Snooze Button.
Throughout the years, I have recorded multiple albums in various countries, played lots of live shows, and organized a bunch of events.
At the moment I am planning the release of several albums, one for each musical project I'm involved in and an art book for my illustrations.
Besides art, I’ve always been interested in technical and engineering challenges, so I started Time Wizard Custom Guitars in 2020 where I strive to build guitars and basses with modern specs and vintage vibes.
Philosophy
Improvisation and sponteneity play a key part in my creative process. In my art style it is all about going with the flow and creating something that just happens. In music this expresses itself in using one of the first takes.
Background
I was born in Russia but moved to Amsterdam at a young age where I was raised and where I still reside.
Since I was a kid, I have been doing creative projects and started my first band when I was 11. Since then, I have kept on going.
Out of interest in digital art and graphic design, I've followed various courses and over the years I started to develop my own personal style.
Besides my creative pursuits, I have an academic background: I did my bachelor's degree in Sociology at the University of Amsterdam and a Minor in Entrepreneurship, followed by Business Administration: Designing Effective Organisations. After that, I completed a Master's in Business Administration: Entrepreneurship and Management in the Creative Industries. Here you can find my CV.
